Twitpic is a platform that allows you to share your pictures on Twitter. A tool that is similar to Flicker, TweetPhoto and other platforms. But yet, Twitpic has gained a lot of popularity in the short time period.

Why? What is so special about their product?

You need a Twitter account to be able to access to the member area, where you are allowed to upload and tweet your picture. It’s same as tweeting from any other link.

They have close to 5 million visitors.  It’s a lot compared to their competitor TweetPhoto. They had a rapid growth just in one year time.

They have an attractive logo, and also the design is simple and quite attractive as well. One of the most amazing features that TwitPic has is to give real-time location based update of which photo has been just tweeted.

It shows the pictures along with the location.
